Do It We Will
April 3, 2002
I just walked in from rehearsal. It’s late. I’m exhausted. We’re breaking in a new drummer. It wasn’t easy going. I never know how important my songs, or how specific my tastes are, are until someone new’s tryin’ to figure ’em out. And Rosa and Walker’s shoes are tough to fill. By the sound of it tonight, the next show will be big loud rock, maybe lacking some subtlety. But we have another rehearsal wedged in between my trip to Vegas and the April 13th Arlene show — we have our work cut out for us. We’ll pull the set together, and rock your ass. That’s our job. It’s what we do. And do it we will.
